I started making cards because I am a very artsy person and because I love doing arts and crafts of any kind! And, I think that just a simple card can brighten up just an average persons day so much, so why not make cards for children with Cancer and/or other illnesses who could really use a little booster to get them to smile for even a second... Something as simple as this (making cards) that will let the kids know that someone's there for them and cares about them. After I made 30 cards myself I then thought, why not get other people to help me so they can share their artistic abilities with someone who could use a smile, so the Sunday school children at my church graciously made cards with me! And, the twins love to help make cards with me too!
